Thanks to the dedication and teamwork by Yves Couslant, Desmond Knox-Leet, and Christiane Gautrot. The boutique was launched at Boulevard St. Germain in Paris and it is still active today. The company was acquired by Manzanita capital, the London-based private equity fund in 2005.
L’Eau was the first fragrance launched in 1968. This eau de toilette has an amber fragrance. Perfumer Desmond Knox-Leet created this scent. Cinnamon and rose make the top notes whereas geranium make the middle note. On the other hand, cloves and sandalwood make the base notes soothing.
